7th Sunday in Ordinary Time

4.30pm practice – cover hymns for mass, the lord’s prayer
5.45pm – revise the lord’s prayer and in christ alone before mass
6pm mass
7.30pm – 8.30pm – [Spiritual Com facilitates] – Intro to Lent; Introduction to the “New” Mass
8.30pm – 9.30pm – Practice for Lent

Spiritual com has put in a lot of effort and time [and also prepared 45 booklets for the choir] for our formation program.
We really hope to have a good attendance from the choir.
We really appreciate the presence and support of the constant 20-30 Genesians; this year we want more Genesians to be consistent and present – and we hope having a good faith/spiritual formation foundation would allow us to:
1. Understand our role as music ministry, choir for the mass – passionate about making the mass a conscious, full, and active worship for the congregation we serve
2. Understand our role as Catholics in the parish, in the choir, in the society we live in – passionate about forming and growing the community we have here
3. Inspire, give a jolt, and reignite the love of Christ and his Church amongst ourselves and allow us to do the same for the many Genesians who are now merely Sunday Catholics – not realising the talents they can use for God’s glory.
